The Dubai April job fair is the final event of the fair season, and a great opportunity for schools and candidates who have not yet found the right fit to have plenty of meeting time. Hosted by Search Associates (SEARCH) Bill and Alison Turner, the global fair attracts schools of all kinds, including British, American and International Baccalaureate (IB) schools. Likewise, the fair is suitable for teachers in all subject fields and at all levels. Candidate Maria Guerrero Mora shared her enthusiasm:

The end-of-season fair is a popular source for schools with late vacancies and candidates who have not yet found that perfect position. This year’s Dubai April Fair, held at Universal American School-Dubai (UAS) on April 27, welcomed 54 teachers to meet recruiters from schools in the UAE, Saudi, Kazakhstan, and Oman. Head of UAS Kevin Loft said:
Having the opportunity to meet candidates face to face allows them to fully express themselves and gives us the chance for a more personal conversation to ensure the fit is right for both the candidate and the school.
SEARCH candidates Maria Vitoratis, Brian Phipps, Frankie Besong, and Janelle Harris were welcome assistants at the event. Maria led a popular session called “How to make the most of the Interview Arrangement Session.”
