ISD is most interested in hiring single teachers and teaching couples, with or without dependents Teacher qualifications include having a Bachelor's degree in a teaching field and valid teaching certification, in addition to a minimum two years' full-time teaching experience.Candidates can be up to the age of 60 and must have teaching certification to obtain a work visa. The salary and benefits package allows for considerable savings; teachers are provided with fully-furnished housing, a generous moving and settling-in allowance, one round trip per year, tuition fees waived for dependents, and a 5% retirement benefit at the end of every year. Though employees pay 50% of the health insurance premium, coverage does include local and worldwide major medical as well as dental, long-term disability, and life insurance.
