Brian spent his early years in international education teaching as an elementary school teacher, grades four and five. His career in elementary education started in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands where we taught grade five on the island of Saipan. Brian transitioned next to Caracas, Venezuela, where he taught grade four at Colegio Internacional de Caracas(CIC). His next post was in Kenya, the International School of Kenya(ISK) where we taught grade five.

After ten years teaching elementary school Brian moved into international school administration. Brian spent the next fourteen years in a wide-variety of administrative positions. Brian returned to CIC as the Upper School Principal and IBDP Coordinator in 2006 and continued through 2011 as the Elementary and Middle School principal having opened the two year old and three year old programs as well as bringing the school closer to PYP authorization.

In 2011 Brian transitioned to the International School of Belgrade (ISB) where he served as the Lower School Principal overseeing the early childhood program and the Primary Years Program. Brian remained at ISB for seven years and was a key player in the schools development of a new campus project as well as overseeing the IBO re-authorization process for the school.

After his time in Belgrade, Brian moved on to become the Middle School Principal at the Walworth Barbour American International School in Israel. (WBAIS) Brian served as the Middle School principal for two years as well as coordinating the school-wide MAP testing process, week without walls program, and coaching varsity boys baseball.
