Senior Consultant Norma Hudson and Senior Associates Gez Hayden, Nick Kendell, and Ray Sparks were pleased to represent Search Associates (SEARCH) at this year’s Leadership Conference for East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS), this October 26-29. Held for the first time in a couple of years, the event brought together over 800 delegates at the Shangri-la Hotel in Bangkok. The theme was Together, Again, and it was evident that everyone was delighted to be among colleagues. Nick said,
It was so nice to be back at an in-person event and reconnect with educators from around the East Asia region. Many worthwhile conversations were had.
SEARCH was privileged to sponsor a keynote address by Julie Jungalwala and Julie Stern, passionate experts who coach educators on transforming “the factory model of education” into centers of learning “that promote sustainability, equity, and well-being.”
Conference sessions were well attended and grounded in best practices, culture, post-Covid, and the future of education. With the absence that has been faced in the past few years, it was evident that participants were hungry for the in-person and face to face meaningful professional development experiences that EARCOS 2022 provided.
