Greetings to East China Normal Affiliated Bilingual School

East China Normal University Affiliated Bilingual School (ECNUAS) can now be counted among Search Associates's list of thoroughly vetted schools. The school is located in the Anting town of Shanghai's Jiading district, which is well-known as an international automobile hub. ECNUAS, whose curriculum follows the International General Certificate of Secondary Education, opened this year with 600 pre-K-12, predominantly Chinese students. The staff of 84 includes 10 teachers from North America, 60 from China, and one from the U.K. Currently, there are 14 open positions!

Teachers at ECNUAS are well-compensated with a generous salary and benefits package. The school provides teachers with two or three bedroom apartments, located 20-minutes walking distance from the school. In addition, teachers receive a settling and furniture allowance of $1,600 and $2,000, respectively. The benefits package also includes airfare for one yearly round trip out and back to Shanghai. Health insurance covered by the school consists of local, worldwide, and major medical coverage.

ECNUAS prefers to hire married teaching couples without dependents. The school also encourages single teachers, with or without children, and teaching interns to apply. Work visas will be issued for certified teachers up to the age of 59.
