Overseas Teaching in Kuwait, Where Purpose and Passion Meet Success

An overseas teaching experience awaits you in Kuwait where you can share the joys and successes within the learning environment and community at Future Bilingual Schools (FBS). The experienced and caring staff at FBS guide a hands-on curriculum, and personalized approaches to learning aim for the ultimate success of all students. FBS consists of three schools in one: Girls School, Special Needs, and Boys School. All are committed to promoting self-confidence in every child by respecting their individuality and providing a safe and loving family environment in which children reach their potential as learners.

Accredited by the Council of International Schools, FBS delivers the U.S. Common Core to 1,300 pre-K-12 students, 96% of whom are Kuwaiti. Half of the teaching staff is from Kuwait, allowing greater support for overseas teachers transitioning to a new country and culture.

FBS for Special Needs is designed to ensure that students with disabilities are provided with an environment that allows them to thrive. Through focused assessment and creation of individualized educational plans (IEP), FBS Special Needs prepares students for both social and academic success. Trained teachers and clinical specialists work with each individual student to set academic and behavioral goals tailored to their learning. Specialists oversee the overall development of students so that each may emerge as successful and independent.

Special days and events at FBS are supported by top-notch facilities. Kindergartners enjoy Sports Day, Career Day, Pizza Day, and more. In addition to those, Grade 2 students participate in Spelling Bee and Grade 2 Got Talent while Grade 4 hosts Save the Earth. Elementary students love Character (costume) Day and Grand Mosque too. Middle school students love Science Fair, Sports Day, International Day, Spelling Bee, and International Day. High school students enjoy their own Sports Day, University Fair, International Day, Science Lab, and Islamic Competition.

FBS hires certified, single and married teaching couples and will consider newly certified candidates. Teachers must hold an academic degree in the subject they will be teaching. As per government regulation, those up to the age of 60 may obtain a work visa.

The international teaching benefits package includes a non-taxed salary and allowances for moving, settling in, and annual airfare. Additionally, tuition is discounted by 50%. Worldwide health insurance, including dental, is fully paid, and the school provides professional development opportunities.
