This April 6-7, Senior Associates and fair hosts Jennifer and Robert Imholt welcomed to the Search Associates Virtual Latin America Fair 14 schools from North and South America, Central America, and the Caribbean, and 75 candidates with a strong desire to work in the region.
Convenient for both schools and candidates unable to able to travel to an in-person event, the fair also offers school recruiters and candidates the opportunity to meet now that in-person fairs are wrapping up for the year. Participants explored 40 international teaching vacancies, and nine schools hosted Q&A sessions. A candidate from Cameroon said,
Thanks to this opportunity, I was able to increase my knowledge on schools in Latin American and explore more job opportunities that could be a fit for my profile. This experience always brings me closer to the prospective schools, and it is always very beautiful getting to connect with people from different parts of the world on a single platform.
A candidate from California also commented:
Thank you for setting up this virtual fair! You all ran it very well, and I was impressed with how smoothly the technology has worked!”
As we head into the final stretch of this recruiting cycle, we were happy to provide a unique opportunity for schools and candidates still looking for the perfect match to connect with one another on the virtual platform. Jen adds,
Although this is by far the latest in any year that we have organized the Latin American Virtual fair, we still saw a high level of interest and participation. We are grateful to all who attended.
